Our Story
It was 1974 when Barbe Jenkins-Gibson decided to fulfill her dream of starting a Christmas store. As one of the first holiday themed shops, the Christmas Cottage established a long tradition of providing unique products of outstanding quality and superior customer service that have made the Christmas Cottage a "must stop" destination for visitors to the Oregon Coast since the day it opened.
The store has continued to grow to include a selection of thousands of ornaments on every imaginable theme.

Milestones
1974
The Enchanted Dollhouse opens in Portland Oregon and a year later relocates to Lincoln City, Oregon.
1978
Christmas cottage opens.
1984
The Enchanted Dollhouse is sold and relocates to Canada.
1994
A burglar set fire to the building. Although the store was a total loss, it was gutted and reopened 90 days later.
1999
Expansion doubles the size of the shop.
2013
May 6, 2013 began our 40th year in business.
